Data Summary
Funded in 2012, NIAGADS became the NIA-designated national data repository to facilitate data sharing for the study of genetics of Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias (ADRD). The NIAGADS Data Sharing Service (DSS) was developed in 2018 to host and share data generated from the Alzheimer’s Disease Sequencing Project (ADSP) with the research community. See below for information about data hosted in each database.

Data types include CRAMs, gVCFs, quality-controlled project level VCFs, and harmonized phenotypes. These data are available for qualified researchers to access. More information can be found on the ADSP Umbrella dataset page.

All data derived from NIA funded Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) genetic studies are expected to be deposited in NIAGADS or another NIA approved site. As the NIA designated repository, NIAGADS has assisted with the deposition of genomic data of various types. Go to NIAGADS to view available datasets.
