The Role of the endolysosomal pathway in Lewy body dementia project is a population study involving Parkinson’s disease dementia (PDD) cases that were collected for a genome-wide association study. Individuals were recruited and samples were collected by VA Puget Sound and Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra in Portugal where clinical evaluations were completed.

The American cohort of samples for this project was collected by Dr. Cyrus Zabetian and Dora Yearout at VA Puget Sound. The Portuguese cohort was collected by Dr. Ana Morgadinho. Drs.
